    1. Also, the face looks like a mountain lion. Otherwise known as a Nittany Lion. As in Penn State Nittany Lions. Wondering if the bells are eluding to the Liberty Bell also. But I, like you, definitely see it being a Pennsylvania thing.

  6. Interestingly enough, PA came to my mind also. Keys and Stones are a huge theme...Keystone, Keystone State. Also the armor appears Dutch as well as the shoes on the little fairy are Dutch sandals. PA is a notorious Dutch settlement. I'm still torn between Bethlehem, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia or more specifically Germantown. The skirting seems to almost elude to beams of steel as well as the suspension under the arms look like a bridge.

  7. Possibly Kansas- There’s a reference to OZ in the poem and the picture could represent the tin man.

  9. Hello! Pittsburghee here! I am hoping to look more into this image and verse. I do agree the keys and the stone in the background "keystone" but I have yet to find anything symbolizing Pittsburgh in the image.

  10. The suit screams Spanish influence and the number of keys can't be a coincidence. Florida Keys???

  11. I think it’s Minneapolis. Along the bottom right looks like a spoon with a cherry. There is a giant spoon with cherry in Minneapolis

  15. I took a different approach. I think it might be in Plymouth, MA. I'm seeing correlations with England/Pilgrims, the mayflower and Susanna White (a pregnant mayflower passenger)

  16. I believe this could be Roanoke Island due to the fact that the outline of the island is in the picture.

  17. Could this be in Macedonia, Ohio? A carnation is the Ohio state flower and the statue looks like a scarecrow. Apparently in Ohio there is a Wizard of Oz Festival.

  18. Roswell, New Mexico. You can find the letters for Roswell spelled out in the armor and the spacing of the armor. The helmet looks like a UFO, the background is a moon or space scene, there is a floating alien attached or being beamed up to the flower in the bubble. The entire being is outlined in g a green blue glowing color you know alien like. hahah

  19. Even though others call this "The Scarecrow" or "Medieval Scarecrow", I think it looks more like a viual pun; "Man-o-War", and he is so heavily armed he needs braces to support his arms.
