I am working on a solution for the NYC casque that is, as far as I know, unique. I do not think the prevailing theories - Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn, Battery Park in lower Manhattan, Ellis or Liberty Island - are the correct dig sites. I have made some striking connections that made me gasp. I live in NYC and will be doing some groundwork to see if it holds up. I emailed James privately, I'm willing to share my findings with him to see if I'm onto something - I just don't want to make them public yet.
Matt I am REALLY sure I know where the box is, within 30 feet... But i am stuck in salem oregon.... Let's talk... If we both can say to each other the GENERAL area and I think you're close to mine, I'd love to tell you about my research .. I need a new Yorker to do this with me, if my safari there doesn't get funded.. 971-701-6441 anytime... I'm Jim
I am revealing the entire hunt online on multible sites, but be forewarned. Before one could dig down 18" or even probe the earth they will be led away in steel bracelets. Of course the location will then be known to all, and an industrious park employee will finish your hole and seize the prize if it's present.
Hi Cheech, I'd be very interested to read your solution but I'm not very good with computers, thus I can find it anywhere. Might you be so kind as to mail it to me? Thank you! GarySikorski01@gmail.com
The lady IS NOT the Statue of Liberty... I bet Matt knows where she is at! I do..... And 90 percent of the imagery is all within 100 feet of each other except for the Russian building shape and Sam the eagle.... Everything else is right next to her
US Custom House. The lady, the bird, and the shape of the whole painting are all reflected in the entrance to it a.k.a. the National Museum of the American Indian. Email me for more details of my research...
I thought the same thing -- it's even named for Hamilton -- but it wasn't the Museum of the American Indian until the late 80's. You're in the wrong area, but you're on the right track...
The Litany of the Jewels, on pages 20 and 21 of the book, match the immigrant group to a gem for you. No guessing required. Then, find that gem in a painting, and proceed from there. I would also point out that the book does tell us to pair up a verse with a picture "...goodness first...". A way to do this is to find an item described in a verse and match it with the picture that has that item. My favorite is verse 8; "...At a distance in time...At a distance in space..." which is a perfect description of juggling, which matches with the juggling lady of picture 10. So Verse 8 matches with pic 10. All the rest can be paired in this same way.
