I think it’s Detroit. The Rhino and Camel are on the Detroit Zoo Water tower and Detroit has a heavy Middle Eastern immigration history. Also the poem hints to the Detroit Lions and possibly the Redwings
It has to be Houston as a Expedition U known fan look at the map it kind of looks like the rhino and it could be hurricanes because taxes gets hit by most of the hurricanes.MOST OF ALL does Detroit does not have a desert like in the back round.
Same here. I lkve in Michigan and going on some other clues that i have found and noticed is that it seems to me that all the gems are being guarded in someway by a fairy like creature hence Chicago with the Emerald being an earing on the what i would call a goblin or leprechaun hence the Irish link to the big on immigration. The Cleveland box was guarded by a centure which is very much linked with the Greeks. Boston was Italian and the Peridot was being held by an Italian type of fairy. So it seems to me if you can figure out the 'guardian' of the gem and where in the world that the fairy is based on then you got a good idea of what ethic group you are looking for. Also found out that there is also a flower linking to the culture of the people as well as a clue somewhere linking to the month that is linked to the stone as well. Hope that helps.
Pointing out that there seems to be what can be very much certain but leaving up for interpretations is that behind the pillar of the rhino head is a what could be a rock that is if you slightly forgive the shape of what is the bottom part of Michigan. To which the state had a large middle eastern populations.
I grew up in Houston which was predominantly Caucasian and Hispanic in the 80s, not middle eastern. I disagree this painting is Hermann park. The leaves in the painting are maple not Post Oak. Post Oaks have shallow roots as well so it would be near impossible to dig a hole in the park. The ground is clay and very very hard in the summer when I suspect he visited. When it rains the clay becomes spongy and things buried resurface during floods which were extremely (and still are) common. Not surprising to see caskets poke up in cemetaries. My point is in a heavily heavily trafficked park such as Hermann, it would undoubtedly with construction, flooding, and general composition of land have been found by now. I'm not sure how someone attributed this to Houston or how any of the cities got locked in, but I have determined 3 are incorrect.
I guess no one noticed the immigration for this painting would be Persian. Kentucky. The figure is clearly a Djinn. I've cosplayed enough as a Djinn to know what I'm looking at. The hills are Kentucky blue grass there's a horse head in the leaves above 95. Yes, in 2004 it was said Preiss confirmed that there is a treasure in Houston but he did not confirm that this was the painting or location. Until a key is found...open minds. Look at it without the verse. Then look at the remaining 9 verses that have not been truly physically located.
Between the front/largest pillar and the djinn. Start at the horizon line and go down until the start of the shadow. Is it me, or does that shape look an awful lot like Arkansas?
Looks to be Bethlehem Pennsylvania with nativity sene like feature. Top of stack famious camel in that area. Top of stack penn. St. Lion. Famious stacks in that area also. Also railway.
Yes, this could be Las Vegas. The story mentions Earthly Paradise. I would emphasize Paradise, NV. Also, I would pair up verse 7 with picture 8. I think the mention of 3 high posts in the verse matches the 3 high posts in picture 8. I think this is how Preiss intended his readership to match verses with pictures. Nowhere in all of these Secret wiki sites does anyone mention "how" to match pic with verse. This is how.
I think NM preface of book has talking bears (Smokey the bear), navajo tribe famous for weaving, elf alpha is New Mexico pg. 221, white sand dunes is totally white sands national park, bridal veil falls could be the Djinn. Tularosa, NM was a Spanish colony.
There is 95 in tree, a 30, a 2 also. Also there is a body with 2 heads, there is also a woman in a dress with seems to be a scarf. Or beard around her face. There is also a creature below her of some sort.
The tree species, the “totem poles,” the sand dunes, the geyser (old faithful), the aboriginal/native man, the train tacks, the camel, the bright star, all add up to Wyoming. Can’t link the Romanesque road/ancient temple flooring to it though. Ruby mines in Wyoming? Don’t know.
My opinion is that the person represents a migrant worker. I also think that the overall picture represents the area of Tornado Alley in the Dust Bowl of the 1930s.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like it says 957 very small in the trees at the top. 957 is a New Mexico area code!
DeleteThere is also a 96 below and on the right edge in the leaves too though
Deletethe Spirit of the Confederacy seems preety much similar like the human of the painting
ReplyDeleteTheres a 95 in the tree, could be an interstate or a special date or something.
ReplyDeleteMaybe liberty park, New Jersey?

ReplyDeleteI know the state, the park, the poem. I can follow the poem about half way then I hitt a wall!!!
ReplyDeletedid anyone notice the WAD in the tree, hidden in the foreground leaves? kind of an inexperienced treasure hunter so no idea where that could lead to
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is that the person represents a migrant worker. I also think that the overall picture represents the area of Tornado Alley in the Dust Bowl of the 1930s.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone looked further into this Detroit theory? The Detroit zoo in Dearborn has the highest population of middle eastern immigrants in the nation.
